Benjamin S. Withrow, Member

Mr. Withrow is a registered patent attorney whose practice includes patents, trademarks, copyrights, and related licensing and litigation. He dedicates a majority of his practice counseling clients on patent related issues in conjunction with procuring, licensing, and enforcing domestic and foreign patents pertaining to semiconductor, electronic, communication, software, and information technologies. Mr. Withrow combines his extensive technical and patent experience to assist clients in maximizing the competitive advantage afforded by their intellectual property. Prior to forming the firm of Withrow & Terranova, PLLC, Mr. Withrow practiced with Rhodes & Mason.

In addition to working with high technology on a daily basis, Mr. Withrow brings a wealth of technical experience as a former research and development engineer to his patent practice. Prior to practicing intellectual property law, Mr. Withrow was a senior hardware engineer at Eagle Research Corporation where he designed and developed analog and digital electronics for various products. His engineering tenure also included a significant amount of software development.

Mr. Withrow is licensed to practice in North Carolina, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and before various federal district and appellate courts.
